The Substance 2024
What freak thought of, wrote out, and directed this movie. DID? youth glorification? misogyny? probably a bit overdone but um…. the movie got the themes across…. The rockstar montage might have been a little excessive! The intentional acting and stupidity of the characters made it feel more like a movie. I also liked the social commentary of identity being influenced by greed and fomo lol. Would only watch again if I need vomit motivation 💯
