  I watched this when it came out then a cloud obscured its contents for years. I remembered the general plot, but watching it again after *twenty years* made me realize just how much it shaped my angst as a young adult. It’s such an honest look at the emotional fallout of CSA that isn’t overly precious about “Trauma” either, and it’s also just soooooo beautiful. So many great faces…

  This movie is so good and it fascinates me that so many have misread it. Watching it again, it’s insane to think anyone creating it had the intention to make it “anti cancel culture,” like Richard Brody and many others have stated.
