  A politically tone deaf film in the midst of a global pandemic where there’s been massive unemployment, hunger, and housing insecurity.  Poverty is not some fun dreamlike state of #vanlife where you can stay at your sister’s or sing kumbaya around a fire when your friend dies. The film’s genuine moments are ruined by its lack of self awareness. How you translate “housing crisis” into nomadic lifestyle is beyond me...

  Edit: This film should have felt like a Barbara Dane song.

  No one can convince me this movie isn’t about Bradley Cooper going insane after losing the Oscar to Bohemian Rhapsody and seeking his revenge by writing, directing, and acting the life of Leonard Bernstein.
