I LOVE Nicholas Hoult so this was an automatic watch for me. The pacing was good and I really loved the casting.
But honestly, Zoey Deutch’s acting was not it for me. It felt like a high schooler in their first school play, sorry. And it felt like there was no real climax of the movie.
Other than that I thought it was great and would probably watch again to try and make sense of the cliffhanger ending!

I love how much screen time the face huggers and Xenomorph get. I only took one star off because the beginning kinda felt like a Star Wars movie, but once it ramped up it REALLY ramped up. Great visuals, and loved the special effects!
