truly raw and compelling. I cannot fault the acting of a singular cast member of this film. I was particularly compelled by the subtle stylistic foreshadowing and utilisation of a green property as part of the “abandids” pictured in a low angle shot as if to appear turned upside- down prior the climax of the film.

I was particularly impressed by this films awareness of its own genre and subject matter and was particularly well researched in terms of screenplay.
What particularly stood out to me was the use of settings to portray Romy’s inner conflict between professionalism and reality. It was also intriguing how meta and self aware the narrative was through its use of motifs aided perfectly by the soundscape, which upon seeing the film is a credit to Sky Ferreira’s talent for songwriting. …
