  Deeply uncomfortable but necessarily so. I now understand the physical feeling that men have when they see someone kicked in the balls but this was way worse.

  Norman Houston would’ve been so deeply happy that this won the award in his honor.

  So good I briefly had an anxiety attack mid-movie (although I should add that I have very specific triggers that are not common to have, I don’t think this would be an issue for literally anyone else). This was everything I’ve ever wanted in an Irish folk horror movie and more

  a) mostly in Irish 
  b) beautiful blend of Catholic trauma and indigenous Irish beliefs - no matter how much Catholicism has been overlayed Irish culture will still be present
  c) women!!!
  d) giving Sidhe the respect they fucking deserve
