AMAZING performance by Naomi Scott. This is the level of crazy that I feel when I’m at my worst with anxiety and OCD. This is why horror is such a powerful outlet for the feelings that come along with mental illness. The soundtrack is absolutely spot on as well, love those creepy noises.

Deliciously horrifying! Oz Perkins is becoming the horror master of the 21st century. Every frame so meticulously crafted in pure beauty and terror. Had me genuinely terrified for the entirety of its run time. Made me so uncomfortable I felt like I was going to collapse into myself.
I Am The Pretty Thing That Lives In The House was the last horror film that made me lose sleep, this will be the second. Well done, Oz Perkins, for making this hardened horror fan of 14 years scared of the dark. I want to re-watch this a hundred times over!

"You hear this guttural sobbing when a 75-year-old man recounts something that happened to him when he was 13 as if it was yesterday. When you hear that you understand alcoholism and drug abuse. Because their just trying to dull it down. They got this little record player in their head that never turns off... ever. No matter what they're doing."

    Watched at virtual Tribeca.
This film is so important. That quote brought me to tears, because it resonated so…

A wonderful observation of being a teenage girl and a beautiful connection between younger and older generations of females.
