I've come to the conclusion that Larrain makes movies for the actresses to shine.
Here he just wanted Angelina to be Angelina.
Perhaps she did it very well (and we're very happy with that, this was a perfect role, fit with her actresses' traits), but it seems to me that in this movie there's nothing more than her following the scripts very well and good scenarios
I think however it's another worth-watching nice depressing triggering sad story, fr enjoyed
