This was overwhelmingly good. Absolutely lived up to every bit of hype, good god. It’s just astounding how much energy they were able to juice back into this series, that had been missing for a long while. Not to say any of the other films had even this much energy before. Shrek 2 might be the closest contender. This really set a bar.
