Barbie 2023
Funny, exciting, and full of color, this is a movie worth seeing on the big screen. The casting is wonderful and the performances are good, even if somewhat stilted by nature of the fact that lots of the characters are dolls. In the end, a hollywood feminism is unavoidable, but not so shallow that it sabotages the movie and its positive message. I will be seeing this again, probably several times, but especially because the assholes behind me kept talking and kicking my seat, particularly at the end of the movie. Unbelievable. But I digress.
