I think this film is really brilliant and I often feel like the more fantasy-vibed Bong Joon Ho films break people’s brains. This film has more to say about the multiplicity of class struggle and exploitation than parasite does imho. Ending felt like it was in an editing fight with the studio though. Death to the studio system - long live the movies.

My favorite movie of the year. Sean Baker understands America in a way most directors only wish they could. Every performance is great. There are so many subtle touches that give the movie life. Especially when she punches a guy so hard he has a concussion for the rest of the movie. Chef kiss.
