this film perfectly captures the struggles of teenage life in which it details friendship, puppy love and the strong desire to fit in with the collective. i believe that an important takeaway from this film is that we shouldn't sacrifice or sabotage our self identity to try and be someone we aren’t but rather embrace the journey of developing a unique identity even when it’s difficult. P.S love your mom with all your heart because she will show up when nobody else will ❤️

hilarious movie and fun to watch. however, i think i enjoyed the 2022 Danish version a bit more just because the movie was darker and less light hearted (im psychotic i know). This american remake was a blumhouse production and that is exemplified by the horror movie cliches and tropes in this film and I’m honestly not the biggest fan of that. I didnt like how the protagonist husband was just a poor excuse of a man and had no redeeming qualities whatsoever, im pretty sure my younger sister had more testosterone than this guy
