Osbourne Cox? I think you might be concerned about the security of your... shit.
Aspiring cinebro that gives four stars too often
The Big Short's cynical and sociopathic and overlooked cousin. Jeremy Irons pitches 100 when he shows up (adding the tie he's wearing to my Christmas list).
Definitely worth seeing, it's fun! Pattinson is so gd weird in the best way and a few of Ruffalo's deliveries had me laughing. Found some of the political commentary to be meh, though, but only because I'm comparing its didacticity & lack of nuance to the likes of Parasite. Starting to think Bong's taking it easier on his English-language projects for all of our sakes, or something. Also, was the loan shark storyline even necessary??
In Portugal a couple of years…
Killer performances (where has Guy been hiding since 2000?) and loved the music, techno included. Can see why people will criticize it for being pretentious, but I had way too good of a time to care.
Note that I may have been bribed by the poster + brochure party favors. And popcorn @ intermission. It’s a five!
It’s fun if you have the stomach for it. What I saw (which wasn't everything, I had to avert my eyes quite a bit because I’m WEAK) was creative, savvy, and in-your-face. I also laughed a lot!
MUBI (lol) should’ve waited to release in 2025 so it could win the inaugural Achievement In Casting award. And speaking of awards, Demi should get a nod for this, she did it all and then some.
