I'm a big fan of the MI films. Turn your brain off, sit back & enjoy. I loved this film. Until I start thinking about the plot and story but then I remember all the cool stunts and great dialog and remember that it's just about fun. It does do one thing that really pisses me off and I can't ignore it. And the ending stunt does go on for a bit too long. But by the end I was looking forward to the next part.

This was an enjoyable film. I didn't feel the length at all. But... man, does it just reek of pretentiousness for the sake of pretentiousness, which has become a staple of Nolan films for a while now, and that's just sad. Like, there's one scene that's supposed to be this serious, defining moment in the film, and I literally laughed out loud. Not intentionally. It was just so ridiculous that I couldn't help myself. So it's good, not great IMO. I'm sure it'll get lots of Globe & Oscar noms. Don't feel like you have to see it in the theater.

An enjoyable average movie. Like a non-romantic Hallmark movie, but with a really good cast. Ben (Robert DeNiro) is a retired widower who's having trouble finding purpose in life. But then he sees a notice that the hip, hot internet clothing company is looking to hire senior citizen interns. Ben gets hired and impresses enough to get assigned to the creator/CEO herself, Jules (Anne Hathaway). Can he get through her workaholic, "don't need any help" attitude? If you just want something nice and not too dramatic, then you'll like this.

Got to see this in iMax and it is excellent. Genuinely the best concert film I've ever seen. The concert is excellent, with the slow interduction of the band song by song, the different lighting techniques used and, best of all, the music itself! If you're even slightly a fan of Talking Heads, I recommend you see it.
