Honestly pleasantly surprised... I remember hearing that this movie was absolutely terrible and it was anything but!

I thought the whole concept was really cool actually and the acting was average, not bad. The action sequences and special effects were a little over the top, but pretty good... but I mean that is to be expected with such a high-budget film. The damn gravity boots were cool as hell!!

Sure the last act was an absolute cluster fuck, but this…

Damn good! Checks the classic horror movie boxes in a really cool situation with a fun ass back story.

I really like Brian Cox in this film, I don't think I've ever seen him do a bad job in anything.

Scary and enjoyable, definitely will be enjoying this multiple times in the future when spooky-time October comes around again.

Honestly just terrible. Terrible plot, terrible writing, terrible acting. Was trying to watch for the "action" and even that was fucking awful.

There was absolutely no drama, no tension, and honestly just no common sense to ANY of the action scenes. Just mindless, faceless goons coming from God knows where to get killed in excessively violent ways by the depthless cast of characters that I couldn't have cared less about.

By the end I was thinking "who on Earth directed this trash?"

    Directed by Michael Bay

Oh... well I guess that makes sense then.

The plot was a little thin and the romantic moments seemed to be lacking a little oomph, but for the most part I liked it.

Emilia Clarke was wonderful and i love Henry Golding, he is the perfect amount of cheesy.
