A JAPANESE CLASSIC:
This film is haunting. The slow build-up, the spooky sound design, the use of dramatic lighting and the twisted traditional Japanese music gives the movie a haunting and eerie feeling, it got me invested during the whole film.
The high grass, the deep hole and the demonic mask are as important as the three, main characters. Their presence during the whole story is so significantly interesting.
