April Fool's Day 1986
Underappreciated 80s slasher. Saw it in wide-screen for the first time and it completely changes the film from a cinematographic standpoint. (I owned it on VHS long before letterbox became the new norm.) It's just a fun, good, unique 80s horror film a la Agatha Christie.

There's Something Wrong with the Children 2023
Some strong performances kept me interested and tense but thr final act completely falls apart. Unfortunate. It's subversive in all the right places and has something to say, it just doesn't say it well.
