I love immigrant stories. I think they show how hard it is for people to “fit in” in a world that’s not yours. The protagonist suffered and continued to suffer through the movie, but he is relentless. Great cinematography and use of light, feels like a movie from the 80s yet really modern. It’s an authentic piece.
