Jack Quaid is a good lead man! He was the best part of this film, and I think his character is extremely likeable. It was a fun take on an action comedy and I think they took full advantage of Nate's inability to feel pain. I Dream in Another Language 2017
This film was sad, but very pretty at the same time. I think the focus on saving indigenous languages, and showing how isolating that would feel for the last speakers of said language, was done very well. This being the first mexican film I've seen, it was interesting to see the spanish subtitled but the made up language not, so you could get a sense of how the people in the film felt. The romance subplot was also tragic and was interesting to see play out the way it did. It didn't go the way I expected.

I didn't know anything about this movie going into it. But it was a great sci-fi. A very interesting premise that helps it stand out for sure. The messaging wasn't too heavy-handed in my opinion, and the effects were really good, especially for a movie from 2009.

Downfall 2004
A very good war drama specifically about the last few days of the Nazi regime in Hitlers' bunker. Hitler's depiction in this film is I think unique and really gives a good idea of what he was like, showing him to be complex and deluded in so many ways. The actor's performance as him was incredible too. It's not a perfect film but it is a really good historical piece.
