Had no business being as entertaining as it was. The one liners and repeated and hammered 'he's old!' bit just worked.

Probably the least violent a movie featuring a cartel could possibly be, and it was weird, they were able to have some fun/provide funny moments involving the cartel. Singing in the car, beaners in a bowl of crackers, etc. I would've loved a resolution behind Julio and his character.

A very funny and endearing performance by Eastwood, I believe this is the first movie of his I've seen. Possibly I've watched Trouble with the Curve. Looking forward to more.

Once you come to the realization that you should take this movie with the seriousness of a comic book movie or John Wick, you realize it's not bad, it's mildly entertaining. The marketing of the movie did it a huge disservice, selling a similar tone as a serious Argo or Gone Girl. Or maybe that's the curse of Ben Affleck's one tone face.

Mildly entertaining, but it falls to another curse, as outlined by Kirk Lazarus, "Never go full retard."…

A great documentary that successfully accomplished its purpose in getting the residents of the underground to move into safer housing, that successfully humanized homeless people and told their stories, that showed how anti-human corporations and governments, mainly NYC and its mayor, are. And a very weird and intriguing subject matter in the first place.

The editing and focus on each persons story and human interactions with the camera crew and each other were superb. Again, humanizing. They captured the humor…

First rewatch. The perfect movie, I wouldn't change a damn thing. You feel the full range of emotion, I teared up at the end. Riz Ahmed should be in more things, and Paul Raci should be in more things. I just don't have anything to say.
