  My eyes were glued to the screen and my brain was in overdrive processing everything that was happening. Not gonna lie, I left the theatre feeling both moved and befuddled.
  But a day has passed and I cannot stop thinking about this film. I think it needed time to simmer in my head a bit longer for me to see how truly genius it is.
  It's a story so grand and universal but told in a way only Hayao Miyazaki…

  beautifully shot, really intimate
  EDIT: it's been a few weeks and I have to bump this up to a 5 stars cause I can't stop thinking about it.
  I can't say I enjoyed watching this movie. It's so deeply depressing. But the more I think about it, the more I realize how much of an absolute masterpiece of a story it really is. Real and heartbreaking. Ugh.
