While odd conceptually. it’s not completely out of touch with reality and showing the raw and very real consequences of abduction. the contrast between the boy and the mother is quite touching albeit sad for both. action packed but also skilful and heartfelt. not a family friendly watch but definitely should be added to your list

Uncomfortable watch. This is a film where you want to look away but you just can’t. The psychological aspect of this film is outstanding and the depictions of ‘Australia’ included both modern and stereotyped versions. Incredible twisted film for psychological horror and thriller lovers
