  When a studio has one actor playing two different roles, I genuinely believe it’s to cut costs by not having to pay two actors. 

  This year has more movies than I remember where this is happening. I know correlation is not causation, but with studios seeming to cut costs wherever they can, they seem to have finally targeted the actors themselves. 

  I could be wrong, but it’s still a lazy, uninteresting, and distracting creative choice.
