  The ultimate anti-school movie. We’re not Cam—we’re the kids stuck in class. Whether we resent Ferris’s freedom like Jeanie, or idolize it like the rest, we’re trapped on a beautiful day, daydreaming about what’s happening on the other side of the window.

  Costumes are exuberant. Art gallery scene is sublime. Filing it next to Office Space with a glowing 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

  ADAM: Well, that’s between me and them, if you don’t mind.

  ELOISE: That’s okay. I understand these things.

  ADAM: (EXHALES) I just wanted to thank you for putting up with me, and all of my bees.

  ELOISE: This place was crabgrass and weeds, and you brought it back to life. You’re a blessing.

  ADAM: No one’s ever taken care of me before.

  Not bad honestly.
