  Despite its polish and recognizable docu-style beats, it's generally an interesting and moving look at Demi's personal and professional life that doesn't shy away from the scarier things she's been through.

  The bravery of a former addict discussing their experience with addiction and recovery should never be undermined, and Demi's story is just as painful and valid as anyone's. I wasn't aware of how intense her issues with addiction were, and it's great to see how far she has come in her journey away from that toxic lifestyle.
