Watched this movie when I was really young but have really really fond memories of it. I enjoyed it a lot both story-wise and visually. It's a good mixture of macabre and wholesome, combining both the innocence of youth and the sad truth of growing old - highlighting two different ways someone's life can go and the importance of having companionship. Truly a piece of amazing cinema that deserves more love. <33
