Emilia Pérez 2024
Pretty poor attempt at dealing with major social issues, but I guess it is encouraging that they are gaining more traction? Zoe Saldaña was okay, the rest were pretty terrible. The songs were horrendous albeit oddly catchy; truly a rollercoaster of emotions. Ending ruined whatever good they had achieved in the movie.

Beautifully shot and written. Loved the pacing and thrill of the chase with the historical elements (despite being fictitious)! A wide array of characters and just generally so refreshing to see black-created cinema. Will be pursuing more of this!!!!! 🙂↕️💗
