Concept started very cool, casting seemed right, and then the movie descended into corny, genre-shifting chaos that made it hard to become invested in any of the emotion of the romance. Overall, huge let down

went in blind, and thought this was a Fight Club moment until I realized the Wilson brothers just looked extremely similar. 

If that doesn’t completely discount my review, this was a lovely uplifting film of hijinks, romance, action and happy delusions.

So much action, I almost think I have CTE coming out of this. Some amazing shots and sequences that show appreciation for the art of badass and characters that will make you think twice about crying out in pain the next time you stub your toe on the way to the kitchen for more popcorn. 

Looking forward to Extraction 3.

I’m usually nervous when you start a movie and you keep saying “They’re in this!?” every time a character shows up, especially when they’re all comedians. This time it didn’t disappoint. Plenty of on the nose and subtle jokes, ridiculous antics and Project X debauchery. Jason Batemans rom-com story line was flat but it was made up for by Vanessa Bayers (tho much heavier on the com). 

Ultimately a good watch with friends, plenty of laughs and TONS of cringe. A nice break before returning to more hallmark formula holiday movies.
