  unlike most movies in this vein, all of my questions were answered and i left satisfied. of course it is predictable as cult movies often are, but the performances make up for it

  vampirism as an allegory for perceived sexual deviance and the shame that comes with being a woman who performs in any way outside of the societal norm,,,, ya i think so!!!

  ellen is a woman who’s vunerability is exploited, and she turns around and grabs hold of her shame, throws it to the wolves, and uses her exploitation as a saving grace for those she loves. what a woman!!!
