I don't know how to rate this special. It truly is unlike anything I have ever seen before. It doesn't come off as a gimmick or like Netflix is cashing in on Norm's niche brand. Every moment is raw, unfiltered, and bare. At times we see the acknowledgment of mortality behind those sparkling Paul Newmanesque blue eyes of his. The shiftiness in his glances, the otherworldly timing, and that uncanny ability to take you on a journey through the weeds…

Jonathan Demme attempts full-on Hitchcock with this neo-noir film featuring a brilliant turn from Roy Scheider in the lead as a spy who has recently lost his wife and conceivably his mind. What a cast! Christopher Walken, Charles Napier, Janet Margolin, John Glover, Sam Levene, Alf's adoptive father (Willie Tanner), and the Mayor of New York! Everyone gets moments to shine, some only a scene or two, but they make their presence felt.

    A Hundred Unseen Horrors 2025: #9

I grew up a massive wrestling fan and experienced it at the height of its quality during the late 80s through the 90s. I likely checked out near 02 or 03. I have attempted to watch it again through the years, but it is unwatchable, hot, reeking junk these days. So, getting an 80s-set Satanic cult wrestling flick is tailor-made for me.

Steven Ogg and Ayisha Issa are both pretty damn good. Issa is…

How can you discuss this without ruining it? As others have stated, go into this one blind. The less you know, the better the experience. Although the crowd we saw this with behaved horribly during certain parts, that admittedly took me out of the film for a bit. Even with those interruptions, I enjoyed this one so much. I want to delve deeper, but I think I will marinate on it a little longer. Georgina Campbell is exceptional here. Zach Cregger, you've made a fan out of me!

Ready or Not by way of Hell's Kitchen. I'm sure Gordon Ramsey has had that effect on some people like Fiennes's character did with Nicholas Hoult. Ralph Fiennes and Anya Taylor-Joy putting on a masterclass in acting here. Don't just devour the rich; taste them and savor every solitary morsel.
