First impressions after leaving theater: I liked the feel of the movie. However, Get Out and it’s premise were much more cerebral to consider. Perhaps it’s not fair to compare the two. I find myself still contemplating the twists of Us. I may never look at my reflection the same way again.

There’s something out there waiting in the mist, just out of view. It could be something out of a nightmare, or something beautiful. It could be both. That’s how I felt viewing this film, I was in awe one moment and deeply unsettled the next, my interest piqued by the fever dream atmosphere.
A powerful mix of horrific and complex visuals, beset by a tooth numbing soundtrack. The events within leave room for some interpretation, but don’t need to be understood to be appreciated. As an audio visual spectacle alone it is worth a watch, and a must for any sci-fi adoring buff.Translated from by
