    once again , i'm in awe of how beautiful this movie was , every scene felt like a 19th century european impressionist painting...
    Martin Scorsese just never misses the chance to make an excellent work of art. i really loved how in certain scenes they used different lighting to highlight which character we should pay attention to.
    how devastating to see that two people , who are that much in love , are restricted by society and not able to live freely as they want 🪽
