  once again , i'm in awe of how beautiful this movie was , every scene felt like a 19th century european impressionist painting...
  Martin Scorsese just never misses the chance to make an excellent work of art. i really loved how in certain scenes they used different lighting to highlight which character we should pay attention to.
  how devastating to see that two people , who are that much in love , are restricted by society and not able to live freely as they want 🪽

  kieran's performance was truly remarkable and yes he deserved that Oscar , i also could have seen him being nominated for best leading actor because his character's impact on the plot and the whole meaning behind it was far more great than jesse's character's.
