Deadly Invasion: The Killer Bee Nightmare 1995
I don't think these "killer" bees killed one person in this movie. Also, major missteps on marketing. No "Bee Afraid" or "Beeware" just total trash. I was rooting for the bees thr whole time.

Hot Boyz 2000
Really just a movie about how hurt people, hurt people and a call for police reform. Was better than expected, the main characters had chemistry. Most of the side characters had enough charisma to make up for being professional rappers, and not professional actors. The movie did fall apart in the 3rd act, but luckily that seemed to happen about 10 minutes before the movie ended, so there was still a lot to enjoy. Of course, great sound track.

Valley Girl 1983
Sure this movie doesn't really have a plot, no it doesn't have any punk music despite punk being a main plot point, and of course none of the actors can pass for high schoolers, let alone 15 year olds. What this movie does have though, is a soundtrack that totally slaps, a parental duo that steals every scene they're in, and an adorable Nicolas Cage at the beginning of his career showing you that he has always been a one of a kind talent.

It's a New Year's Day tradition for me to watch this movie. Seriously, a fantastic way to start any year. While of course this movie has its problems, by making no sense, you can't deny that Nicolas Cage is acting his ass off and is just perfection as both characters. I could watch this movie anytime and be delighted by it. Plus, you have such classic lines as, "I could eat a peach for hours," and "I'M CASTOR TROY!"
