MY HEART IS POUNDING RIGHT NOW AND MY HANDS ARE SHAKING; ARGUABLY THE MOST ELECTRIC FILM I’VE EVER SEEN.
Essentially, I am at a loss for words. The kind of movie my jaw drops for when the credits begin to roll in sheer awe of its craftsmanship. It’s rare that a movie has me audibly reacting to it, especially by myself, but this one did.

All Fletcher ever wanted was to make the next great. It didn’t matter to him…

When this movie ended, I cried.

I must stress, I never cry during movies. I feel them very deeply, but I am not the kind of person to actually cry in them.

Dead Poets Society asks the question, “What does it mean to live?” And does not answer it. It leaves it open-ended, up to the viewer to decide.

The benefit of doubt. The danger of not questioning anything. Though in the faith we are not instructed to blindly follow everything, it can become like that quickly if you’re too lazy or too scared to look into the truth yourself. God is so much more complex than you can learn about Him for an hour every Sunday—you have to make your faith your own and seek Him in the still, quiet, mundane days throughout the week.
    How you view…

The emotional beats of this movie are incredibly powerful and I was brought to tears multiple times. However, it’s in an emotionally manipulative way, not necessarily because I truly care about the characters. As a devout Christian, many moments in this movie are really amazing to see, especially in a theater filled with other Christians clapping and at one point even screaming “JESUUUUUUUUS” lol.

This movie is a HUGE leap for modern Christian media, which, for the last couple decades,…
