I definitely did not expect that ending!!!
The animation and story progress gave off Pixar vibes, so I immediately expected that it's going to be heartwarming. I admit though, once the girl started showing signs of an unknown disease, I knew something bad was going to happen. Something similar to Disney Pixar's UP (lmaooo). I got it right, of course. However, I still find the ending unexpected because I don't know how it's actually going to turn out in the end. Also, the fact that this short film was dedicated to the creator's late wife... oh my God. I definitely bursted into tears. (; A ;)
