Adolescence 2025
First episode was definitely my favourite - I loved how you had to wait for things to happen rather than cut to new scene, really helped with building tension.
Fourth episode a close second, but had to break it in two, absolutely crushing and found it a very tough watch.
Feel like the single shot episode aspect, while impressive, is boosting the overall rating, seeing a lot of 5s being thrown about.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King 2003
If it's not the extended, it just doesn't hit the same. Extended hits the four and a half mark for me. I miss the hobbits falling in line and marching through Mordor in formation. Could've cut half the nonsense at the end.
After multiple rewatches over the years great to get it on the big screen - but my lord I did not realize how many hilarious long pauses there were on ridiculous facial expressions. Notable shoutout to Denathor pouring the oil over his face.

Very meh. If it was on the TV I'd sit and watch it out, but wouldn't go out of my way to see it.
It was missing something for me - not enough tension to be a thriller, a tad predictable, and definitely not an action (was really hoping for a Mr & Mrs Smith reboot after realizing the set up (I went in blind, didn't even know it was a spy movie).
