i got to see this in a packed theatre with 700 other people on 35mm and i experienced levels of awesomeness unforseen. i love that this movie has such shit dialogue because it doesnt matter! all that matters is racing, and drifting, and family. theres a guy in this that they just refer to as “twink” the whole time.
the audience was laughing and cheering at all the right points. when he won that final drift race the rupture of applause was electrifying. movies are awesome. specifically this movie.Translated from by -

vin diesel is really not good in this but i like watching him with his big muscles drive his silly muscle car, its kind of cute.
