Another masterpiece in Tim Burton’s arsenal. This film is a weird, nostalgic comfort movie for me and maybe that’s why I am so generous with it but if you accept it for what it is, wacky and all then you’ll have a great time admiring the gothic aesthetic and all star cast.

Don't Look Up 2021
Don’t Look Up was entertaining enough for a second or third watch but I can’t see myself coming back to the film after that. The satire was often hit or miss, with its best moments genuinely making me question how society views climate change and it’s worst making the movie just feel absurd. The cast was both the film’s drawing factor and its downfall as I felt some actors needed more screen time and others less but that’s just the territory that comes with so many big names.

A Quiet Place Part II 2020
Slow burn for a lackluster ending, this isn’t as much of a sequel as it is a setup for a third movie.

Catch Me If You Can 2002
Leo is great and the story supports his work. A great movie to keep you on the edge of your seat and have fun while doing it.
