    The hoary old bullfighting chestnut gets its first outing as a star-making vehicle for the legendary Rudolph Valentino. The guy certainly has charisma and the archaic scenes actually shot in the bull ring are interesting but the romantic dalliances – with bad gal Nita Naldi stealing the man off nice girl Lita Lee with ease – are corny in the extreme.

    Silly comedy about the lengths some parents go to in order to stop their teenage daughters from losing their virginity on prom night. That it involves exploding cars, naked blindfolds and chugging beer out of your anus probably tells you everything you need to know. It's actually not quite as funny as it thinks it is (and even sometimes comes across as being a bit desperate) but the cast tackle it gamely – and who knew that John Cena would turn out to be such a great comedian?
