I wanted the characters to be more fleshed out. I feel like a certain character got more exposure than another *cough* however by the end they got the vibe. DOP was totally wrong for it though. Too many close-up shots separated the relationship between the protagonists that they felt like strangers at time. I tried watching it years ago when i was in the peak of my body insecurities and saw the number when she weighed herself and thought, “f*ck off”, and turned it off. Now i believe that this film is a rite of passage - needs to be watched in late twenties, deeply single, emotionally hungover (post-performance blues), and a bottle of wine as a viewing partner.
