wow, just wow. I am a sucker for tearjerkers but this one was good. I remember watching this my sophomore year of high school in AP World History, and there I am, in the middle of class covered in tears. La La Land 2016
No matter how many times Ive seen this movie there is this taste of satisfaction every time I see it. The colors, the lighting, the music, the cinematography is absolutely breath taking. The relationship between Seb and Mia is one that is very believable and can believe happening in real life. I truly enjoy watching the way they encourage each other to follow their dreams and even helping each other when needed. I do believe that the ending overshadows how people perceive the movie as a whole and to me that is a shame. This is a movie that is more than its final destination.

Napoleon 2023
I enjoy many historical biopics, but this was so womp womp. They got the character of Napoleon so close but also so far. They lowkey missed his self-centered personality and made him an insufferable man child. Do not get me started on the scenes with Josephine!! This was so not girl boss. Better off watching some PBS broadcast recreation.
