Dune 1984
You must appreciate this movie knowing it was made at a time where CGI wasn't so developped, appart from that, I see no flaws -notably in Kyle MacLachlan's acting (Paul Atreid) or any other leading actors'. Story is well condensed and tension is outstandingly managed. Plus, images are amazing and sounds too. For me, it's a perfect sci-fi adapted movie.
It didn't need a remake, only a restauration and a mediatic rebirth. Indeed, the atmosphere is on point unlike Villeneuve's version who puts it all on visual arts which instantly bores you 5 min after entering the theater...Translated from by -
