Me before a rewatch of Mandy: ☹😴😴
Me after a rewatch of Mandy: 🤩🤘🏻😎😈🎸💪🏻✊🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤯🖤🌩🔥😱😭😭😭
Kind of wild that this movie came out 2 years before Covid hit, and yet it's rather uncomfortably prescient in accidentally nailing the feeling of those early lockdown days 😬
Anyway, really good shit. Definitely an inspired angle to the zombie apocalypse movie to focus on the day-to-day mundanity of trying to survive - treading the lines between tension, terror and tedium expertly.
(Side note: Denis Lavant was having way too much fun playing Alfred the zombie)
Tag yourself, I'm the single mum tuarangisaurus fucking off to get laid while her kid eats rocks off the ocean floor
The Carnotaurus' mating dance and his stupid little blue arms cured my depression almost as quickly as this series being over brought it back
