Tom Blyth is stellar in this amalgamation of erotic thriller and queer coming of age story. It takes a while to get to the point but, when it does, it's rewarding. Great representation, great performances, inspired directorial choices, and a satisfying ending.

Omaha 2025
John Magaro gives a solid performance in a short film that should be even shorter. The last half of this film is excellent, with the film's purpose revealed in the final 15 minutes. The cross country road trip often feels meandering (not in a good way) without a source of driving conflict. It feels simple at times and I was wanting a bit more at times. Molly Belle Wright is incredible for her age and one to watch, for sure. The film certainly sticks the landing but I'm not sure it does so in time to totally save the film despite it being a great watch.

The Brutalist 2024
An incredible film wow. My favorite score of the season and should be a contender for best actor, cinematography, direction (and best actress honestly, Felicity Jones is spectacular and not getting enough love). I was shocked to learn this isn’t based on a true story, testament to how this amalgamation of grounded and grandiose feels so honest and impactful.
Can more movies have an intermission please?
