The Fountain 2006
one of the most beautifully adapted films I have experienced in a while; I will be watching this again and again. three different timelines of the same soul, allegorical connectivity all throughout. It tells a story of a soul who can't accept the fate of aging and dying, in love with a soul who through studies of Mayan theology has interpreted death as the beginning. So beautifully interpreted, I really love the golden and less saturated ambiance of the entire film. So much that could be unpacked about this cinematic masterpiece, but all in all, I 10/10 recommend!
