Although not quite holding up to Bong Joon-Ho’s previous works, Mickey 17 is a fun satire on the current state of American politics. Joon-Ho makes the message clear as day with many parallels to the current political state of the U.S.
Robert Pattinson really gets to show off his acting range by playing Mickey 17 and 18. Even though they’re the same person, their personalities couldn’t be more different. Pattinson is able to play both roles really well and his performance alone adds a star.
