  this movie thinks i'm supposed to understand what is happening but from scene to scene i have not a CLUE what is going on. things are just happening and I'm like "okay sure I guess". that first 10 minutes gave me whiplash between the shitty dialogue and the constant fades to black (which continue throughout the movie 😭)

  this film is captivating, funny, and very pretty. 

  Wes Anderson's acting direction is so unique. (I know actors have their own approach to their characters, but a Wes Anderson character feels much different from other movies.)   god i really like this movie. i wish letterboxd had a top 5 spot instead of just 4 bc this would go up there 😭
