  Unclear as to why this wasn’t nominated for best picture bc it was incredible. Cannot believe that most of the actors played themselves. 

  Also love whatever film / camera was used it was beautiful to watch.

  - there was no reason that this needed to or should’ve been a musical
  - plot holes galore
  - it was poorly edited? Weird cuts 
  - Selena Gomez doesn’t really do it for me in terms of acting ability 
  - telenovela x social commentary didn’t work for me

  This felt like a really good short story. Maybe bc a sub 2 hour Oscar nom is not the norm nowadays but also maybe bc it was perfectly concise. Kieran Culkin forever and always.
