The Zone of Interest 2023
This film achieves so much by showing very little of the usual horrors we, as viewers, are accustomed to seeing of the Auschwitz experience. By keeping the story almost solely in the domestic space and holding back on violent imagery, the director has managed to suck the audience into the psyche of the oppressor.
