A Bunch of Amateurs 2022
I find it hard to rate documentaries because it feels unfair to judge things that actually happen but I really liked A Bunch of Amateurs. A documentary about a group of people who are passionate about films, making films and ultimately about human connection.
Felt especially nice to watch this at the weekly movie night with friends in person.
Part of me really wants for all their films to be published so I can watch them but part of me…

Coming into this movie already feeling emotionally fragile this movie battered the shit out of my little heart. What a beautiful, happy and equally sad story.
Also I was already crying when the reveal of the dad got me sobbing, just for me to exclaim through tears "that's fucking Saul Goodman".
